Sledging fun on Niederhorn

Take the bus from Interlaken up to Beatenberg and continue by gondola to Niederhorn. Enjoy a racy sledge ride to the restaurant Vorsass at the middle station where you have a fantastic treat.*

To ensure that your trip is perfect in every way, please note

  • The following services are included: Individual return journey by PostBus 101 from Interlaken West, unlimited number of cable car journeys, sledge hire, snack in the Vorsass mountain restaurant

  • Appropriate footwear (high, sturdy shoes with a good profile, ideally waterproof) and warm clothing (ideally winter jacket, snow trousers and gloves) required
  • Ski helmets, snow- or sunglasses and sun protection are recommended
  • The sledging run is signposted with purple signs
  • The kitchen of the Restaurant Vorsass closes at 3.30 pm
  • Last possible sledging run from Niederhorn at 4.00 pm, last descent from Vorsass to Beatenberg at 4.35 pm

Timetable: Please check the timetable of the bus (Bus No. 101) and the Niederhornbahnen.
Equipment: Warm winter clothing and sturdy snow boots are required.
Tip: On the day of your adventure, please check before your departure at "Facilities" if the the cable car and sledging route are open. In bad weather or snow conditions, the service may be suspended.
